The amount of energy required to make the fuel also doesn't make sense- we're taking away lots of land for food- for fuel. In the Philippines, they use a combination biodiesel and petrol tank for taxis in some areas. The impact on the environment is not yet known but the taxi drivers said that using biodiesel does underpower the car. Just my thoughts ...
